Dr Rima Shaer has extensive experience in the latest procedure-related cosmetic and comprehensive restorative dentistry, as well as sedation dentistry. Her most notable award was the induction to the prestigious Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society.
Dr. Rima is of a Lebanese heritage and was born in Liberia. Her family relocated to Beaverton, Oregon when she was only six months old. Fluent in English, Arabic, and Spanish, Dr. Rima attended Beaverton high school and graduated from PSU with a major in Organismal Biology. Following her undergraduate studies, Dr. Rima attended OHSU School of Dentistry and earned her doctorate in Dental Medicine in 2008. She graduated at the top of her class with high clinical and academic honors and was awarded the Oregon Academy of General Dentistry Senior Dental Student Award. After graduation, she was invited to teach as an assistant professor at OHSU.
Dr. Rima is a highly skillful and knowledgeable clinician. Her attention to details as well as her desire to further her knowledge through continuing education sets her apart as an exceptional clinician in General Dentistry. In addition to her superior dental skill, is her amazing ability to establish rapport, connect with her patients and make them feel at ease. Her primary goal has always been to make sure that her patients are comfortable and have a positive experience.

When not pursuing her passion for dentistry, Dr. Shaer enjoys spending time with her husband, Dr. Saleh and their four young children. In her spare time she enjoys traveling, watching movies, playing sports, and being outdoors.
