Dr. Mo Saleh is a highly respected dentist and dental implant specialist in the Portland, Oregon area.
His extensive training and experience with the most innovative procedures in cosmetic and implant dentistry make him one of the most highly sought-after specialists in his field.
Dr. Saleh’s most notable awards include Diplomate from the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, mastership and Diplomate from the American Dental Implant Association.
Dr. Saleh was born in Jordan and moved to the United States in 1989 after graduating from high school. He completed his undergraduate studies at Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, Illinois.
His background in art, coupled with his passion for patient care, was fundamental to his decision to pursue a career in the dental profession. As Dr. Saleh says: “The pinnacle of great dentistry combines art, science, and human compassion.”
Following his undergraduate studies, Dr. Saleh attended the School of Dental Medicine. He then earned his doctorate in dental medicine in 1998 from Southern Illinois University.
In the year 2000, Dr. Saleh relocated to Portland after falling in love with the Pacific Northwest on a brief visit. “There’s nowhere else I’d rather be living, working and raising my family than in Portland, Oregon area,” says Dr. Saleh. “The people, places, and things to do are simply incredible here.”
Dr. Saleh’s commitment to excellent patient care, advanced learning with integrating the latest in technological advances into dentistry, has earned him a high level of admiration by both patients and colleagues.
He continues to give back to his industry by training dentists in cutting-edge technologies in implant and sedation dentistry. In addition, he actively mentors many dentists throughout their careers.
Dr. Saleh has led the way in dental innovations in Oregon and in the United States. He is among the first to bring metal-free dental implant technology to the United States, and the very first to do so in Oregon.
In addition, he was the first to acquire 3D cone beam imaging technology from Japan, now considered the standard of care for the diagnostic and surgical planning of dental implants. He was also among the first to utilize placental tissue grafts to replace and repair gum and periodontal tissue.
Dr. Saleh has built a solid foundation in implant, cosmetic and sedation dentistry by training alongside the most admired and respected pioneers in these fields, including Dr. Carl Misch, Dr. Michael Pikos, and many others.
When he is not pursuing his passion in dentistry, Dr. Saleh enjoys spending time with his wife, Dr. Rima, and his children. He also enjoys many sports and various outdoor activities.
