During your initial visit to one of our Washington or Oregon dental spas you’ll get your first sample of our elevated level of service. Our team is committed to establishing meaningful, long-term relationships with each and every one of our patients and that starts from the minute you walk through our doors. Be prepared for this appointment to take a bit longer than usual so that our Optima professionals can get to know you and obtain the information necessary to provide optimum care!

What to Expect

First off, you’ll be welcomed by our friendly team and offered a made-to-order latte, espresso, or herbal tea to enjoy while we will make an evaluation of your physical and oral health. Either before or after your appointment, you’ll also be treated to a soothing paraffin hand wax. We will obtain your health insurance information and explain our affordable payment options, then you’ll be taken to your private treatment room.

Once you’re in the chair, one of our skilled hygienists will thoroughly clean and polish your teeth and you’ll have an opportunity to meet one of our dentists and discuss the expectations you have for your smile. Our dentist will take the time to provide personalized service, answer your questions and address any concerns you might have. We’ll take digital X-rays, check for oral cancer and gum disease and examine your mouth. During this process, we provide the following dental spa amenities to ensure your comfort:

  • Aromatherapy
  • Electric blankets
  • Movie glasses
  • Neck warmers
  • Noise-cancelling headphones
  • Massaging dental chairs
  • Sedation options if desired to ease anxiety

New Patient Forms

To ensure optimal convenience, we have placed our new patient forms online. This allows you to familiarize yourself with our practice prior to your appointment and helps speed up your wait time in the lobby. If you would rather fill out the forms in the office, that’s perfectly fine! Please plan to arrive 10 minutes early to provide enough time before your appointment to complete the new patient paperwork.
